GROUP BUY on PCV and breather parts - smoking turbos? READ THIS!

Following on from another smokey turbo thread...

Firstly, can I just say I can NOT manage this group buy - I will happily manage the correspondence with courtesy but after my latest $1000 bashing from them I can't afford to stump up the cash....

The parts required are:-

Z32PCV-TT0590 Z32 PCV Hose Kit - Turbo 05/90 and up $49.20

2 x 11810-00002 PCV Valve - Z32 $8.61

This comes to $66.42 BUT you can get a discount by quoting a TTnet membership number. This converts to £41.71 at the CURRENT exchange rate. Don't forget there will be a shipping charge, VAT and duty to pay on these items ;)

Place your names below if you're interested - who has a Credit card with lots of room on it then??? :D

CheerZ,

Andy

Im sure there are some breather kits left over from GPS :D:D i recon anyone who wants it, ill give them 105 pounds plus the kit :D:D

I'm interested

I'll take Warren's £105 off his hands too and just put his breather kit away in the cupboard with my one! :D

I would put my breather kit away but it never arrived :(

Good job too :D

Tim

Does this kit cure the SARS virus? If so i'll have one!

Yeah, count me in, need some of the hoses anyway and a couple of spare valves may come in handy ...

Hope this doesn't turn into another of ChrisC's camber kit group buys ! (All the cheques will now be out of date)

I've just phoned Nissan and the price for the PCV valves and hoses as mentioned in previous threads is £81.80 + VAT.

I'm therefore definately getting mine from Courtesy!!:D

Please count me in as long as there's not too much waiting around as I need these ASAP!! Before I get my turbos replaced!!

DOH!!

Cheers,

F.T.

I'll have a set of hoses as I have a set of new PCV valves sat in the garage but at time of purchase did not think about the hoses DOH

All we need now is someone to do a group fitting service :D

Me too but I'm afraid my CC won't bend enough for this GB. Sorry.

I'll have the kit but i need only one pcv valve!

I got 1 from the US before, the other one didnt arrive and i didnt realise i needed the hoses!

Where shall i send money or shall i pay courtesy or what?

cheers:)

I'm in.

Put me down for a couple of valves only ( as I've just bought the turbo hose replacement kit ).

You really do need the hoses as well. They just disintigrate when you tackle them.

CheerZ,

Andy

Aren't you supposed to get them cheaper in a group buy. ?

These prices are the same as if you were to order from courtesy alone are they not ?

I don't think anyone has asked Courtesy for a bulk discount yet. I would have thought that the savings would mostly be on the shipping charges anyway.

Yeah, but you save on the $50 postage, but definitely get rodgered on the 25% tax !

Stuart,

I think Andy is trying to see how many people would be interested in this and has quoted what the ball park figure would be roughly!!

If you are getting your exhaust done soon then maybe you might tag along on this as well??

Cheers,

F.T.

As i already said i'm in, also would like a coil wiring harness and injector harness, if it pushes up the shipping ill cover the extra costs. :)

Why don't we have a thread...who requires some new parts for their car...and get them all from Courtesy....saving everyone money on the shipping costs!!

Or am I being a bit optimistic here?

I just think it would get too complicated. I'd be happy to stick a few sets of pcv kits on my CC as it would be easy enough to sort out and the individual costs for everyone would be easy to work out.

But as soon as someone orders something heavy and the shipping cost goes up a load because of it, it becomes a major pain in the arse to work out who owes what.

Yes you are right Dave....

I was being far too optimistic!!:D :D

F.T.

Don't let me put you off! If you think you're up to organising it, that would be great.

As I said, I'd be happy to buy a load of pcv kits if it turns out to be worth doing a group buy, but I wouldn't want to get involved in buying any other stuff (and therefore sorting out orders, calculating different shipping/tax rates, calculating individual postage rates in this country, etc), I'm afraid.

Anyone else prepared to do it?

TBH I think if anyone is looking at getting a list of stuff, they won't really save much by doing a GB. OR the person who wants more than just PCV kit could stick everyone elses order on theirs? ;) That way it only leaves the PCV kits to send.

andyduff / AndyP- I was looking for the part numbers for the Blow-By hoses and found a couple which were slightly different:

11823-40P11

11823-40P01

Are these the ones that andyduff listed or are they a typo?

By the way, I found a site http://www.conceptzperformance.com which appears to be cheaper than Courtesy. I have no experience with either, just thought I'd mention it for interest.

Cheers - Gio
