Once again those wonderful people at Thames Valley have decided to spend more of our Tax Payers money on stopping a crime (if you could call it that) of little importance instead of concentrating efforts on catching rapists, murderers and theives. See below:

Thames Valley Police are mounting a 6 month speeding

campaign from the 1st July, on the M40, M4 and A34. They have been equipped with the following unmarked vehicles-

BMW 535I, 1 Silver & 1 Dark Green

Seat Cordoba 2.0 VTI in Silver

Vectra 2.5 SRI- 1 Black & 1 Red

Omega 3.0 SRI- 1 Burgundy

Volvo S40 T4- 1 Red

Volvo S70 - 1 White

VW Bora 2.3 VTI - Red

VW Passat VR6 - Silver

They will also be using a helicopter between Junctions 4 and

8/9 of the M4 from next Monday for a 2 week period, plus additional mobile speed cameras on Bridges around the Maidenhead and Slough junctions.

Take it easy round those parts, cos if they catch you, they'll make you "Squeal Like A Pig, Boy!!"

Geez, life is hard in UK...

Thank god it's not like that here in Sweden.

We've got very little of those cameras and the Police is

using less resources to hunt the speeders.

They are more active now than the past years but nothing

like what's happening over in the UK.

My condolences frown.gif

Yep, already seen this one, I think Craig posted it last week. Tossers! They need all those cars to generate revenue coz keeping the Bird in Blue up in the sky costs thousands per minute. Eat it you tax paying peasants you!

I know a song about how I feel when things like this transpire...

Was it ICE-T or NWA??? Think they both did adequate tracks..."F**k, f**k, f**k...f**k the Police!" was one, and "Cop Killa!" was another...REZPECT!

I know I am tempting fate here but this "6 month speeding campaign" seems to be limited to the times between coffee breaks (about one hour in any 12 hour shift). Haven't seen one car / camera / helicopter since this was posted by our Big Boss Man a few weeks ago.

They certainly aren't about between 4:30 and 6 in the morning and 14:30 and 15:30 in the afternoon. Unless they've clocked this flash of red blur speed past them but by the time they've rubbed their eyes in disbelief, I'm well away. biggrin.gif

Just waiting for the "We Caught You Speeding, na na na na naaaaah" letter now....

I've just had one. I'll be in court on the 2nd of August if any of you want to come along for a larf. I'll be on my knees beggin them not to take my license away.
