I have a small prob;

When I drive along a back road at around 35mph in 2nd gear waiting for a straight bit of road to show my girlfriend how well my new zed accelerates, if it has been raining, even if I am going in an exact straight line this happens:

RPM increase / big spool up / massive increase in velocity / then the back wheels start spinning.

I cannot believe a company of Nissan;s standing would allow this to happen!

I promise not to do it again Mr Yakimoto, I know there is no rain in Japan, sorry for underestimating your surprising moto car.

Boost is my God and rain is my Nemesis.

Now I know the secret. Take out the 309GTI when it has pissed down smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Yep happens to me too. Dont think the fact that I have budget tyres on the back helps though

LOL..that's nothing.

Wait till you increase the boost and do a little modding here and there...

You'll even have that kind of wheelspin up to 4th gear and above 90mph (on wet roads) ...now THAT is scary ! wink.gif

So be a wimp (like me) and get that traction control sorted, can't wait 'till it rains, I'm going to hurtling past my mates Griff while he's dancing on the throttle in his ballet shoes biggrin.gif

Wheel Spin in 4th in the Dry baby - and that is before the bigger turbos go on there . . .

Slide that baby, like it was designed for!

Used to be a guy at work that had a black one... came in one day without it.. turned out he has been going through town (30 limit) in the rain, and decided to show his girlfriend what it could do, kicked it down to 2nd and floored it....you can still see the house where the car embedded itself.

..at which point the girlfriend turned round and showed him exactly what 'she' could do ! wink.gif

Between him and the house... we all know which will have come off worst. hehe

The original post was meant to be read with a large dose of ironic intention;-)

But, maaaan, rezpect is due to the Zedster when its wet smile.gif

But I think traction control would be a good idea for when I go out with the woman and sproglets tho!

On me own tho, its just fun getting those 10x18's a' wigglin' and a jigglin'

Oh yes indeed.

Lovin every single drive-out in the Z..
