Has anyone ever replaced their passenger side O2 sensor ?

I got the special tool (Thanks to Andy P ;)) but I'm having great problems reaching it. What is in the pipe below and can I take it off to get more space to work ?.

It seems to have snapped off of this section (I think). I t doesn;t seem to be causing too many poblems and I think it has been snapped for some time now.

Also just thought I'd mention that when I took my battery off I found 3 x 10mm spanners wedged in different areas around the battery WTF !!!!!!

DO NOT UNDO THAT PIPE!!!!! thats one of the A/C pipes that contain the A/C Gas! If you undo that you will have to get the A/C Filled again and you will get coverd in a coloured dye! Very Dangerous to undo too!

oh, thanks Matt. Maybe I'll leave that pipe then.

Has anyone changed this O2 sensor (passenger side) before ?. Did you have any problems getting it out. I would be satisfied it I managed to break it because it had seased but at the moment, I'm feeling a little wussy because I can;t even get a decent grip on it.

If you have had it out before, how did you do it ?

Crows foot socket, universal joint and an extension bar are all thats required.... and a strong arm... ;-)

Seriously, thats all i used on October when my nearside started playing up. Had to remove the battery, but nothing else. (Changing the O2 sensor on the other side is much more tricky btw)

Right well I got a 22" extention bar and a fairly strong arm, but I don't have a crows foot.

Thanks WillyEd.

Right get your butt in fight club you bunch of ..... :D

Only kidding guys.

Thanks.

That first pic showing the AC pipe......I had a leak there, where when I stopped water would drip from this very slowly and I could hear gases escaping.....Tightened it up and all OK now.

Should I be worried about anything???

if i were you 300zx_newbie i'd get the A/C system checked to make sure you got enough gas in your system. not enough gas and the compresser will break!

Hello mate, sorry for nicking your post but whilst I am here, heres a quick question 4 u.

The recovering of your seats (interior looks sweet btw), how much and from where?;)

Also, you havent updated your ICE install on your web site, I would love to know how and what you have put in as my rear standard speakers are blown and it all sounds rather SHAT to be honest.

Thanks in advance mate!;)
