After checking the following

http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/auxfan/auxfan.html

I still have my problem. The faq test the fan not coming on

My auxillary fan seems to be on all the time or at least the majority of the time even after starting on a cold morning and I know for a fact its less than 219 Faranheite

Anyone know why this could be???

Yep - that'll be it :) Mine did the same - on all the time, cleaned up and secured the temp sensor and that did the trick.

If so why dont I see a visable change on stock temp gauge( is it because they are crap/inaccurate)

Cos there's two sensors, one tells the gauge what to show, the other tells the ECU what the temp is. The gauge one is obviously working fine.

The ECU one (the left one) will cause the fan to come on if the connection's not right. Give it a wiggle while the engine's running and see if the aux fan goes off.

Of course, it might be something else causing it - but this is a good place to start :)

Hope that helps.

Because the dash guage uses the sender next to it. There's two on the top rad hose. One on the left for the ecu and one for the guage cluster on the right (looking from front of car).

I think your right

From closure inspection of the stock temp gauge I can see it failing every couple of seconds. Just drops ever so slightly very quickly then returns to normal
