Hi Guys

Just been working out my journey back from PPS and have decided on the the following.

Drive to Peters - leave car

Train to Newcastle

Get pissed in Castle Saturday night :D

Train to Edinburgh and then Glasgow - 3 hrs - £16.50

Flight back to Bournemouth - 1hr 20 mins - £25

So can anyone tell me what is the nearest train station to PPS and does anyone have any recommendations on nightlife and B&Bs in Newcastle?

Cheers

Martin

Yeah Martin,

Don't bother staying it's full of northerners!!

Get back down south as quick as you can...so you can enjoy some expensive warm beer!!;) ;) ;)

Cheers,

F.T.

Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow - that would be one amazing weekend mate.

Just do it!

At least it will delay getting back to the south to all those half of shandy serving gay bars :D

Those gay bars are just for Northeners, we never go to them !

It's kind of like the tourist thing, you know.

if your wanting cheap n cheerfull i think theres a formula 1 hotel near the quayside, which is where you will go on the lash(thats beer for the southeners), its a short walk from the world renowned big market.Qauyside is posher, big market is chock full of bars n slappers, but i prefer quayside, nicer slappers,(not that im after any girls/slappers, incase mrs gavo reads this) town on a weekend night has to be seen to be believed and is ranked among best in world and i agree, you will have time of life!!!!

No mate its the same slappers that have walked down to the quayside.. You just think they are nicer cos youve had more to drink by then :D :D

And by 2am even girls from Sunderland start to look OK. ;)

Martin there isnt really a train station near PPS but Im sure Peter or one of his crew will drop you off, or if im not tied up at the time give me a shout and I will take you wherever you wanna go.

Paul

Get yourself in Tiger Tiger on the Saturday night.

I think they've deployed a very potent honey magnet in the area. It's rammed with talent!

And if you get lucky - there ain't no need for a B+B! ;)

Thanks for the replies lads and many thanks to PaulG for the offer of a lift, I will get in touch once I have spoken to Peter :)

Cerainly should be an interesting weekend and I will get to see the north lol and scotland, never been there either. I will leave the booking of the B&B and see if I get lucky, by the sounds of it I shouldn't have too many problems :p :D

Quayside, lager, slappers!!!!!! me thinks you need someone to show you Newcastle in its glory. Lets hit the town M8.

Mrs Leonardo reckons I'm more Quayside, lager, slippers.........

Well what can I say, fantastic weekend. :D:D

Many thanks to Macca who met me on the A1 where we had a blast up to Peters ;) me trailing cos my suspension is fooked and I was bouncing all over the place. I would have thrashed him otherwise :D:p:D lol

We met Peter and Paul G and saw Pete's racing pug 205 with a rover 2.7 - superb doughnuts in the car park!!! Peter then dropped me and my mate off in Newcastle right outside the hotel – what a star.

Had a curry and then hit the town meeting Pete and his bro, bloody hell that place is heaving, full of top totty. Went on that ship nightclub thing - all great :D

Journey back was a bit of a disaster as we missed the flight check-in by 10 mins and Ryanair wouldn't have a bean of it, so had to stay another night in Glasgow (Preswick) and caught the flight home tonight, expect work won’t be happy but not a lot we could do.

Definitely looking forward to doing it all in reverse in six weeks time.

Finally decided not to go for the micra flip, it was too dull even tho the purple was superb. Probably gonna go for a blue metallic.

If anyone else is gonna go to Peter's from some distance def recommend the night out, everyone we met was very friendly.

Cheers

Martin

How much is the paint job? I presume it's cheaper to have it sprayed in the original colour? Thinking of having it done myself so am just curious.

Cheers
