Mad mile Me vs Honda V-MAX

he he awesome drag race, he got me of the line (i got away sort of all right) i pulled next to him in second as i changed to third he got around a wheel in front of me, then third i just pulled about 2 cars on him :D

 

sadly the R1 i was really gunning for was about a lampost ahead lmao :D

    He can't have been trying, they should munch most things in a straight line. 0-60 will be closer to 3 secs than 4.

    No doubt he was trying Andy, no doubt at all, it was a proper go flat out, it takes a good rider to get the claimed figures out of most bikes. 90% of the time you can add 1 plus second to getting them of the line that fast.

    Errr...could have sworn the V-Max was a Yamaha!:D They're lardy old piles of shit thats for sure, but if you have an import one they are well quick in a straight line (for a 10-12 year old bike) The UK ones didn't have the infamous Yamaha V-Boost (as usual we get the bolloxed homosexual version over here)

     

    I rode an American import one once and scared meself silly. Going from the likes of CBR's, Blades and GSX-R's to one of those is a real eye-opener....like "who put the hinge in the middle of the frame! and why are the brake pads made of wood?!?!?!?":eek: They're still supposed to be good for a 10.9 sec quarter though.

     

    Then again, another mate of mine had had a V-max with a turbo and variable nitrous! Now that was RAPID!
