Dodgy Sales

 

Not only does the one advertised for 4k look rougher than a rough thing on a rough day contained in a rough week (and for those of you that have good eye's it used to be red, check out the bottom of the bumper near the front tyre!!)

 

Look at the state of the one behind it!!!

 

The ad says 'No Dreamers', he must be dreaming if he thinks he's going to sell that, I think he would have trouble giving it away for spares...............

Another factor,and one i feel is the most to blame ,is word of mouth from people that have purchased a "Just In"direct from japan Z,from the countless crappy/dodgy dealers /importers that are out there(tareing the good dealers/importers with the same brush)buying grade 2-3 Zs,shipping em over ,tarting them up,then selling them on for triple what they paid,then a few days or weeks later the poor buyer finds it needs shit loads spending on it just to get it roadworthy again,so called 30klm cars that are/seem to be much more worn out than should be,eventually these pieces of crap get sold on and on etc for low prices,affecting the price of the good ones,vicious circle,Zs with good service history,in very presentable condition,obviously looked well after by the owner,especially an enthusiast, in my book is worth double that of one thats sitting on a forcourt somewhere,and the dealer not knowing jack shit about the car,just waiting for some poor unsuspecting person to buy it,and we have all read and heard about it on here at sometime!,i think though that people are now getting the message about these cars,there being more choosy,the proof being the amount of people that have recently come to this site to ask questions and get the low down before buying,i have ,like many here noticed the price fall quite a lot since around october till around end january,but the good privately owned ones are now holding there own and are fetching a better price and are more sought after,eventually the crap will dissaper and then you'll see Zs going up in price alot more,takeking all this into consideration and the above post is why they are so cheap at the moment

Reminds me of a Garage I visited near Warrington which had several 300ZXs for sale, a couple of years ago.

They all looked in a similar state and one had some sort of glue dripping from the headlining inside! The steering wheels and seats were threadbare and cracked and every panel had a scratch or dent of some kind.

They were asking between £8K and £10K for these scrappers as well!:D

Tell you what,a certain person bought one for spares,it was a runner ,but well worn around the edges,to far gone to put serious money too,and the price!,around £900 and it was a runner and it had mot ntax,it was in better condition than them two,they should be used up for spares,for around £800 each,get the crap off the forcourt!!:mad:

and a black boot lid. I cant believe somebody is trying to sell cars with a variety of bloody colours! Also wtf has happened to the suspension on the silver one, looks like its completely dead.

Also just a little point, you email him with your phone number, he wont give you his!

Fook me Matty - libel schmibel - that is a fooking dodgy dealer. How do they expect to sell those? :confused: I hope nobody buys either of them, I imagine the underneath is just as shoddy :mad: Thats the kind of crap that drives the value of the decent ones down, "no dreamers" indeed :mad:

Maybe were all wrong and its a pair of overpriced spares or repairs, believe me, it wont be long till some one gets tradin standards along to see his cars and after they put him right he wont be trying to flog stuff like that. Personaly i think its scary, some one might actualy buy that and even if it runs rough it will have a fair turn of speed and god only knows what other probs it has, "lethal" comes to my mind

EEEh hey, its been thru the wars mind, look at the way none of the panels fit right, looks as tho a 2nd hand front ends been bolted on and some skoda wheels too, and that silver one is beyond discussion or belief !!!

That on its own is false advertising. Bonet scoops, rear bumpers and spoilers do not make you go faster? Infact the oposite. The scoop is less arodynamic, the spoiler should create downforce and the rear bumper is most probably heavier.
