Briefly, want to get a Z - twin turbo - and I need to know the mpg from people who actually drive the car. This has no doubt been asked before but I searched the archives and there were too many matches for me to process - so thought I'd just ask.

I do about 120 miles per day, all motorway, as opposed to short sharp journeys.

I searched the archive posts and saw people claiming 25-34 mpg - for a 3.0 TT I find anything around 30 and over difficult to swallow. I'm OK cash-wise and I can afford a low-mpg car (otherwise I wouldn't go for a Z :D) but need to keep a reasonable head on. I won't get a Z if it runs lower than 22-ish mpg (I'll switch jobs instead ;) )

I got 26 mpg on the brighton trip, motorway speeds of 80 to 100. £50.00 lasted me the full day, im happy with that.:D

I find it strange sometimes.

Going to the lakes a last year, took it easy on the motorway never above 70 to save fuel and I got 22mpg.

Going to the rally in Wales, lots of hard acceleration and slowing down stuck behind cars doing 40 and I got over 26mpg.
