How much are you paying for good old optimax.

At the garage near where I live it's 80.9p a litre.

I went to Swansea on the weekend and filled up there for the trip home....82.9p!!!

I thought things were generally cheaper in Wales(like beer) but not optimax.:eek: :eek:

i haven't tried it yet due to the price

Suggest you do a search on Optimax ... you'll find loads of reading material since this has been discussed many times...

 

Personally, I don't like to put anything else in ... I think it has more effect on J-spec Zs than UK ones ...

79.9 so far here. Used to be 72.9 when it first came out. Bloody war!

 

I find it better. I get more mileage and my car runs noticably smoother.

Filled the car up today and it was 80.9, A120 Colchester.

I paid well over 80pence in Ilford last night - i can't remember precisely.

 

but I must say - it really makes a difference in performance and the engine seems to roar!!!

i think Optimax debate ended like this.

On UK car not worth mutch improvments.

On Jap Import, well worth it.

I feel sorry for the lot of ya as i just filled up today at 1.07 a litre

oh thats australian dollars.. so i think thats like 40p a litre or somewhere around that and thats as dear as i have ever paid. only cause of looming war but i normally pay 90 cents a litre
