BTW, did anyone catch the interesting article in Autocar this week about German cars? Basically, it says that they are relying on a reputation which isn't true (ie, they are well made and reliable). They had a quote from a guy at BMW who said that if you want good build quality and reliability - buy a Jap car as he has no idea how they do it. I was pissing myself.

I remember the head of BMW saying the same thing a couple of years ago when BMW came 2nd from bottom in the world car reliability survey. 7 out of the top 10 in that survey were Jap makes.

Having lived with Warren as long as I did you get used to him changing his mind sometimes manually.
