just got back from the wetest lemans in history lol, it was pretty cool, and will post video soon, and pics.

i even managed to go down the mulsannes straight (well went down sideways l0l) we need to get this more organized for next year it is well worth it.

Very wet but very cool.

 

We paided a tenner and got a table in the welcome area,waitress service fairly good view for the two days.

Had a look at the mulsanne straight but when cars are moveing at over 200 mph you don't see much though a 25 foot gap in the fence.

I think i saw craigs motor. And a red Z in Karing Nord on a dutch plate? it was dark i was bollox and yep in was raining sideways.

We should organise next year.

i'll have to take the Z next time.TVR'd this year.

well it was an audi 1,2,3 just like last year except the 3rd car was painted green.lol

nope no skylines.

the drive from calais was to long for me,

the beat way down is portsmouth-leharve(or whatever) and then it is an hour hour and half to lemans.

dont go through any clubs, cause they just rip you off. you can buy all the tickets and camp site tickets direct from lemans website.

Trip from Calais was great fun - I'd go for that every time. Once we got onto single carriageway it was brilliant overtaking everyone. Craig one the prize for most daring. And Andy just sat behind a tractor !!!

Hehe. More than just a tractor. A tractor, a truck, 25 cars, a passing train and a stop off for a look alike TVR ;-)

 

Still the way back was clear and great fun (especially the uphill twisty bit). My mate also got his first experience of 150mph. He liked it :-)

Absolutely - the MG boys will be out in front no problem next year.

Useless fact of the day #195: They actually did more laps during the Le Mans than they have done in preparation for Le Mans.

 

Useless fact of the day #2003 : The lifespan of a tastebud is ten days.

 

Not bad, though considering that they only started in September. Although they are in discussions on Monday to see whether the MG is going to have a future in Le Mans and all the MG chaps are working overtime to get the Viper ready for Daytona.

 

And I found a picture on the Le Mans website with my brother on it, standing next to his car - MG 34. They don't come much prouder than me right now.
