If you want an opinion having owned both 300zx's and the Skyline, it is that the ONLY place the 300zx beats the GTR is in the looks dept. Thats not to say the 300zx is not a fine motor car, its fantastic and awesome, just the GTR is more.

 

As for not buying a thrashed one, if the owner of a GTR tells you it hasn't been driven hard he is a liar ;)

I wonder if someone posted on gtr.co.uk asking about 300's what the reply would be? i bet somewhere along the lines of "go ask on a 300zx board" ? lol

it takes more effort to wright a reply than it does to ignore it.....

all i wanted was some advice from anyone that has owned a skyline...and as it is made by nissan i thought it possible that someone on this forum may own one?...just a friendly bit of advice thats all....if it was a mazda or a ford i could understand?.....

you can all rest assured that i will never mention the above car again.....

Lol the fact is you had your answer on the third post exactly, you asked for advise - someone gave you a link to the place to find out about the particular car. So end of story ?

 

just if i was looking for a car in particular i would perhaps search for that forum or info regarding that car?

its a 300zx board? so perhaps the people know about 300zx's if you want info on a skyline then perhaps go to a skyline board?

or does that not make sense ?

I'm more annoyed with work than anything now as they wouldn't let me take the time off on the Monday to go and get it! I have the money for it right infront of me which is the other annoying factor!

That was me...............got rid of the MPower Z3 and want a Z again!!

 

I had the Z3 on contract through BMW (my uncle is one of the top brass there) and to be honest it would be the only way I could afford one!! all insurance, servicing, tax etc was in with the monthly price.

 

I want a Z again as I have been saving and got plenty in the bank again and I want to own the car instead of paying out on a contract...........

 

It's just a nightmare finding a 'good' Z as they all have owners! I am thinking about importing one....

Hi matty.if you do want to import i can put you in touch with a good friend already out there...he has two zeds on offer now.....i can get you a good price......or you can buy my other zed..which has recently been imported...will do a very good price on this one...but this one is an auto....
