http://www.alldata.com/recalls/index.html

Its just a list of recall notices - click on the link your car was made (NOT the registration date - there is sometimes quite a difference between reg date and manufacture date smile.gif ).

Hope this is of some use to SOMEONE biggrin.gif

Ok, that's it...I'm going to get a Yugo..

In comparison to a Z it has to be a lot safer and more reliable, since it only has had 10 TSB's, against 236 TSB's of the Z wink.gif

LMAO - my idea exactly!!! Frightening init!!!

There's no actuall detail etc (unless you pay) but its frightening to see how mant recalls the Zed had wink.gif

On the topic of recalls, my mums car (Volvo 440) had a recall to change and reposition the airbag sensor - apparently if it was in its original state, going over a large bump would've made the dingy inflate frown.gif Good job I checked that out for her otherwise she'd have had lola ferrari on her lap wink.gif The garage didn't even contact her to notify her of this....... And you thought Nelson Mandela's were bad!!!!

It's a good site that Andy, I've been on there quite a few times. Best example of how the Brits constantly take it up the tail pipe is the PTU(Power Transistor Unit) recall.

Cars in the States got free replacement PTU's along with the Japs, but here in Blightey...you must be joking! Nothing for free in this institution!

I rang Nissan UK just after I got my car and guess what? They new nothing about it and suggested that I contact Nissan in Japan.

Funny how it's pasted all over the web but Nissan don't f**king know about it!!!

Also same with the MK III Supra Turbos, cars were recalled in the States for replacement head gasketts due to the head bolts not being torqued down far enough from the factory. I wrote to Toyota UK telling them that mine had been replaced but if it went again could I get it done at a Main Dealer...up yours matey!

Really frustrates me!

End result, had to pay nearly 300 squid for me PTU anyway...Nissan Main Dealer...Keerrrchhhing!!!
