I'm considering adding an induction kit - choice between Stillen,HKS and Sylvia Engineering(his own brand). Comments please?

I think the Stillen ones are just rebadged K&N's (like JWT too). The best combination of airflow and filtration are the Apexi, have a word with Smithy, he may still have one left at a bargain price.

Geoff, as Andy rightly pointed out K+N, Stillen and JWT are basically the same filters. Do me own of course in all stainless with Blitz style stainless filters, everyone who's had em has been well satisfied, the twin kit i do which is very similar to the SE one costs a little more, however our intake pipe is stainless, theirs is 2 pieces of fibreglass siliconed together :o Ours fit flat to the AFM, theirs can sometimes be as bumpy as a local beach :o which gives for poor running, ours use high filtration stainless filters, theirs are from the commercial catalogue and are paper :o ask Brian corish what difference his cybercraft twin cone kit made over another well known model.

I rest my case ;)

FFKS you go to sleep and this shit starts popping up on every thread  where moderation when you need it?

How much longer till every other post has unrelated advertising content? It's like a virus..............

Smithy - the induction kit sounds great mate, how much do they go for? I had fancied an HKS one but maty be swayed. Tried the link to cybercraft via "links" at the top, can't get it to work

Hope this is related enough to the orig post :)

And why do I always miss all the controversy?! What was the deleted post about?

Cheers

Pete

Hi Pete, some bleedin divvy went and posted on every single thread a large advertising banner for nude celebs

the twin cone kit i had in stock is in fact on it's way to Daventry just near you, so contact Tony C next week when he fits it and pop over and check it out and will happily sort you out one if interested.

cheers

2 things,

pete - dont worry youre not the only one that misses out on the controversial comments..

andy - you say the apexi has the best filtration and air flow, has there been a test at some point? do you have any technical data? i'm not being a twat as i already have an apexi fitted so it makes no odds either way to me, i was just curious and would be intrested to see it.

Yes there is a test and can I bloody find it ......

I have posted it in the past and I know it's on the UK Supra forum somewhere, but as I don't even know what the URL is then I don't know where to start.

Hi Smithy,

Thanks for all the info, v.g.

well please message me with a price for the Apexi.

Geoff.

Here you go Geoff, can do yer this kit but with the next size UP cone, looks good, fits easy and performs really well, anyone here who's had one will testify to that, this one is £115.

cheers

Hi Smithy - I e-mailed you tonight. Apart from that I've been advised that it's better to upgrade the exhausts first and then do the air filter. Otherwise it doesn't really achieve much.

Geoff.
