Well, I got done last week too Was't speeding though. I drove up to Wales in the early hours after work, and while making my way through Cardiff City Centre just after 10am, it appears I ran a red light with an automatic camera on board. I'm usually extremely carefull when it comes to lights... so I haven't the foggiest how or where it happened.

Anyone know what the fine is and how many points I'm going to get?

It's going to screw my premium regardless. *waves goodbye to his beloved clean licence*

 

PS. It's given me a healthy disrespect for the fuzz that's for damn sure.

three points and forty quid for the red light one sir johnny on the plus side ive been chatting with my plod friend this morning and if you were going to get one from the static cameras you would have had it by now....still waiting to see wot happens with mine but i think i clocked him in time as i said to you

As i have just bought a 300zx i shopped around for the insurance and belive me i did shop, I must have tried about 30 insurances and i found that Admiral was by far the cheapest, I also have 6 points. Hope this is of some help to you .

 

My results (Full comp)

Adriral 0800 600800 £607 with excess of £250

Tesco 0845 3004400 £700 Excess of £400

Norwich they were next best with £740

Privilage in the £800

And most of the rest were up over the £1000

It pays to shop around ,and i found most of the ones who advertise in these CAR MAGS who are ment to specialise in performane cars were more expensive.
