Does anybody have a list of (or know of any!) ZX specialists in the South West of the country?

Any of you Zedsters out there in this area?

hi

before i start this email isn`t very helpful?

i know you are in the southwest and looking for someone local. i don`t know of anyone there!!! however, there is a guy in Tamworth which i know is not in the local area but he is really good and often can advice to problems over the phone. if interested let me know and i`ll give you his details.

p.s. he works on Zeds for a hobby!!!!

Yes I would like his contact details if possible mate.

The more people that can help me with sorting my motor out the better!:D

There's Paul Bailey who used to be based around Bristol. How South West do you mean ?

Well I live in a place called Frome in Somerset - it's sort of Bath/Bristol area.

Cheerz

Interpro based in Bristol did all the tuning work for Paul Bailey, so yes they are worth a shout, especially if you can get Dave Griffies there to work on it.

smithy

FJ Chalke Nissan in Wincanton have done work on mine in the past and have been ok. Nissan prices but they have a mechanic who seems to know the car, the service desk guy is quite helpful and they haven't done too bad a job (they forgot to reconnect air con outlet hose once meaning my car kept filling with water - "oh dear it seems a bit damp inside the car, I know, I'll turn the air con on, D'Oh"). Nissan prices though (about 30% higher than Jeff TT at least, but they do clean the car each time lol)

There is also a Japanese engine specialist in Wincanton (forgotten the name) that does lots of work on race cars etc and always has loads of expensive Jap cars inside. I guess they'd be very expensive but I've never asked.

Paul Bailey apparently are no more [only a rumour] i live in Bristol and just brought a second z and the guy who i got it from had it for 3 yrs and always used wessex nissan main agents in bristol

and looking at his bills are quite thorough [lots of em] i have not had the personal pleasure of the service dept but parts dept seem to know there way around the z

cheers

Dave

Try Protechnical Ltd in Nailsea -www.protech-uk.co.uk, near Brstol,

They did speedo, de-limit and foglight on mine and had few other Zeds in shop for work.
