oil pressure gauge

would anyone know why ,since i have changed the oil the oil pressure gauge is not working properly?.....its not the pump....could it be somthing simple..:confused:

    To be honest I dont know where it is, but could you have knocked the wire off the sender when doing the oil?

    The oil pressure sender is either, above the fuel filter, but I think thats the US Z, or where the oil filter would be if it was on the passenger side. Ie. same location as the oil filter but on the other side.

     

    Its most probably the sender packing in.

     

    What oil did you put in?

    i think that i have knocked somthing aswell?....will have a good look tomorrow.......i have used every oil under the sun,this time i have used castrol magnetec...seems to be ok?...thanks for the help....

    Oil filter is on drivers' side.

    Oil pressure sender is on passenger side.

     

    You need to get underneath the car to see it.
