The show is over for another year, so on behalf of the club I would like to thank the following members.....

Jason (Pastor Jay) and Jen - for bringing their Zed along to display and staying for the duration to man the stand
Lee (JaiKai) - for coming all the way down from Scotland on Friday to help man the stand on Friday & Saturday
Craig - for coming along on Saturday to help man the stand
IanL - for coming along to man the stand on Saturday and Sunday
Tony (Bones28) for coming along to help man the stand on Sunday

Thank you very much folks, without you we would not have been able to do it - as always, your help is very much appreciated!

Here's to next year......👍

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Agree the show was good albeit increasingly expensive to attend these days, but the many traders stalls was good, got lots of show goodies for my man cave.

Sadly seems I missed the interesting guys on the club stand, barely getting a single sentence conversation ? no wonder it was so quiet.

The Mr2 and Supra stands were heaving in comparison, lots of energetic guys happy to chat.

Just my experience.

I was in the stand most of the day on Saturday so unless you were there when I nipped away for lunch.

The guys that were on the stand were actively chatting to everyone that came up to us.

Only one that didn't was Jason's wife for abvious reasons.

Yup - I have to concur....

During my time on Friday and Sunday I was pretty busy chatting to visitors. And being right next to the MR2 stand, I could see we were pretty much as well attended as they were.

...Not to mention, the Supra and MR2 clubs had more people actively manning their stands - we had between 2 and 3 at any one time, plus wives.

Spend a couple of days or more and you'll see different traffic on different days at different times. Same year in year out since 2014😉

Maybe you saw me and decided to avoid me as not one of the interesting guys? Or i didn’t recognise you.

Would be a shame though, as i would have liked to chat with you, apologise and explain why we sometimes clash, and to try and put that behind us.

Definitely did not see you Craig would have been good to chat, plenty of catching up for sure, I did try and chat to Ian but it was hard work to be honest and be it he did or not recognise me I have no idea, came away somewhat disappointed either way.

Thanks everyone - and getting back on topic, this thread was started to thank those people who stepped up and helped make the show a success.

And a success it was, as always we had plenty of footfall over the three days - from people coming to admire the cars and chat, to folks who once owned a Z32 when they were new who came to reminisce..... And some potential new members, who have recently acquired a 300zx and may need some help in the future

My favourite was the man who's dad worked for Nissan in the early 1990s, and he brought two Z32s home to show his [then] young son. One being a base spec white TT manual, and the other a range-topping fully-spec'ed red TT auto with full leather et al.... Pretty much the image of Jason's car. He was clearly moved at the sight of it!!

But I have left my biggest thank you to the last - thank you all for buying your tickets with the club discount. Our final numbers are in, and we managed a record [for us] 72 sales!!! 72 - versus just 4 last year - nice one folks, the organisers are very pleased with this, so hopefully it will go down well, when I apply for a stand next year....

So we're now done for NEC 2025, it came and went pretty quickly but we had a great time as always. Thank you one last time - and here's to NEC 2026🤩

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
