just rung nissan dealer to enquire as to the availability of a set of stickers on the right rear side of most zed's 'twin turbo' as mine is jap inport and none there, just 'fairlady z' on the left.

 

Didint wanna know at all, basically told me to get a life and stop being so vain - anyway, 'a nissan 300 what???'

 

sooooo....

 

any ideas folks...

I'd give them a ring back if I were you and ask them to quote on a part, you have the part number...

That's the 'official' no. for the Twin Turbo sticker upto Jan '94.

 

If all else fails I'll cut you a vinyl one in graphite grey vinyl.

You can get these from Courtesy in the US. Two styles as well!!! They'll probably put them in a letter for you also to avoid the customs fiasco and large shipping cost...if you ask nicely.

Vicky, I have just checked that part number, I have a horrable feeling that the one finishing with '0' does not have the black keyline around it, might be worth phoning them back and checking, you may need the '2' version (as in number in previous post). Sorry :(

 

Just don't ask for the grey stripe that goes around the whole car, I think I worked it out to be in excess of £60!! :o

 

Needless to say, I'll be cutting my own, and a reflective one at. :D

That picture of your car I took at the lakeside meet. Are your rear wheel arches really bents in like that or is that just a distortion ?

Would it be a good idea to make these WWW stickers available to us normal [non flirty] types?:)

Stu..........you mean the flattish bit? yes, the curve of the rear quarter doesn't go all the way to the edge of the arch, it kinda squares off.

 

Is that what you meant?
