What do these cameras look like? Are they in the central reservation or are they on the side of the road?

Andy

they look very similar to this

but the ones i saw didn't have multi headed side bits, just single each side, i think...

they are where Tooley mentioned on the M6, either on, or very close to where all the chevrons are on the road.

they are at the side of the road, forward facing

they are by the side of the road and they are placed on what look like ornamental big blue cast iron framework the cameras themselves are just like in the picture

FUCK

I went through them on Saturday with everybody else doing I think about 80-90. Are we all stuffed then?

Also they seemed only a hundred metres or so apart or was I going much faster than I thought. I remember 3 sets and thinking they looked new.

Seems to me the people with dodgy number plates italics and crooked numbers will get off as the computer wont be able to OCR them

  • Author

wrong again these people are in for quite a shock as well as those not able to be identified by computer are going to be processed manually and you'll be done for the dodgy plates as well...........bollox eh and they try to tell us they're for our own safety and not to increase labours coffers

it's the police that benefit from the fines now, not the government, which is why there is an increase in the number of cameras going up.

and the middle two were quite close together, and if thats all you saw, then you did miss the first and last ones.... frown.gif

Are there any signs up saying that there are cameras in operation in the area? I am sure it is still the law that there has to be warning of cameras in order to get a prosecution - they may not even be turned on yet!!!!

Just a thought.....

Andy

I thought that the cameras had to take a picture of the rear of your car, otherwise ECHR ruled that this would be "an invasion of privacy"....?

Ajay your right, Just checked it up....

Anyway....It looks like ED-209 from the RoboCop films....

If that wanted to give me a ticket I would be happy to comply....(gulp)

Thought exactly the same thing! Little Ed-209s! But don't take anything from something that can't walk downstairs. A major flaw I felt with the Daleks. Why didn't current Dr Who run up the stairs? Or onto a cobbled street or something?

Sums it up really, Dr Who didn't even know his own name!!

So how could he have known to run up stairs or down a cobbled street? wink.gif

I forgot that ED-209's can't go downstairs, Am not stoppin for one of them...ever!

The scarf could have told him - or one of his dappy "I'm in the show purely to get caught by This Week's evil monster" assistants... Or he could have had the tardis built with a staircase OR he could throw grease or oil in front of the daleks. Honestly with that and their oh-so-threatening sink plunger stuck to their side, what a nasty creation that was....

Suck the like right out of ya.....Nasty...Or plunger you into the depths of despare..
