Best way to repaint brake servo?

Hi guys

 

i had the servo replaced only a few thousand miles ago however I was never happy with the appearance. Now that I’ve stripped the bay and want to put things back as new I’d like to address the surface rust.

Whats the strongest paint to use when repainting the servo? I’m assuming that it can’t be powder coated due to the internals and that I’ll need to wet paint it?

    Hi Chris, my bodyshop did mine so I messaged him and he responded with the below:-

    Strip apart. 

    1. Bare metal 

    2. Etch prime or epoxy prime.

    3. Black or direct satin black

    4. For a stronger finish satin or clear Lacquer
