This years club AGM is being held at The British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon, Warwickshire CV35 0BJ. More information can be found here:

We have a function room booked and depending on confirmed numbers, a lunch will be laid on as well. We have the room booked from 10am to 3 pm. The BMM is a great museum with lots to see and do, but as an added bonus there happens to be a Classic Ford meeting being held as well!

As some members will have further to travel, we are making use of a local hotel to stay on the Saturday night. We normally meet at the hotel, have dinner together, several drinks and then get up on Sunday morning and plan a little drive to the museum for a bit of fun. If you would like to book a room, you can either book it yourself or comment in this thread, we will get the rooms booked and you can pay the hotel on the day. Details on the hotel are here:

Please remember that this is your club and the AGM is for all of you come and meet everyone, make friends and guide the clubs forward path. Without YOU a club would not exist, so we ask you to come to the AGM, make your suggestions, make your critisms and be part of making what you want the club to be. It doesnt matter if your Zed is rusty or not perfect quality, bring it along! We have all owned rusty projects in the past, so dont be ashamed. If your car is in pieces, come along in your daily driver! At the AGM, zeds are important, but the most important bit is you, yourself turning up!

.....As Tom says, we have picked a good weekend for it, because they have the Ford Nationals going on as well - so there should be some nice old-school fast Fords from our youth on show.... For me it would have been the XR3i , RS Turbo, XR4i and Capri 2.8i.

That said, because this show is happening at the same time, parking will be at a premium on the Sunday. I suggest that in order to park together, we all look to arrive around 9.30-9.45 at the latest 😉

Caffeine and Machine is only 15 mins from the hotel. Can I suggest we meet at C&M on the Saturday morning/afternoon, spend some time there and then make our way to the hotel later in the day?

I will be trying to make this. 

I have a kitchen delivery/fitting either side of that weekend, and 2 kids birthdays (a 30 & a 20!) that week, and possibly starting a new job around then, so i cant really make a firm commitment at the moment. 

I’ll be attending the AGM on the Sunday!

We haven't enquired about a group discount, but I'll give it a go..... I can always cancel my room and re-book if they give one!

Unfortunately I can’t travel up on the Saturday… so no hotel for me…but I will be driving up early Sunday morning. 👍

I’ll also be travelling up on the Sunday morning. Hopefully the Z will be back from the bodyshop by then!

Unfortunately not - we don't have enough confirmed booking numbers to get a discount, so I left it...... Probably for the best, seeing as we have had a couple of people bail out of the Saturday night.

Including me; I'll definitely attend the AGM, but as we're barely 45 minutes away down the M40, Julia and I will drive up first thing Sunday morning. I want to get there around 9, to stake a claim on some parking spaces for us all 😉 

At this rate, there will be more Z’s at the NEC than the AGM so you won’t need to hustle much away from the old Fords! 😅🥴

Lee (bird) is our social media sub committee person. I don't know if he has been advertising it on social media. I hope it will be well attended and we can bring it back to it's former glory.
