Good morning everyone,

I have been asked a few times recently as to whether we are holding an AGM this year - and apologise that we have been a bit tardy in organising something for 2022.

So, given that we are now in the middle of the holiday season, it's probably best to look at late-September/early October if we are going to hold an event this year. The main holiday season is over, the weather is still usually kind, so it is one last chance to get out with our cars before winter....

I have spoken with the British Motor Museum, as they did a great job for our 2019 event - and they have availability for Sunday October 2nd.

British Motor Museum | Home

It's a central location - being in Warwickshire; just off the M40, south of Birmingham.

Ideally, we'd follow previous year's plans and get together in a nearby hotel on the Saturday night, ready for a short drive to the BMM on Sunday morning.

So as members, what are your thoughts...? Are you likely to attend...?

We have also been successful in our application for a stand at this year's NEC Classic Motor Show - so the AGM could be a good opportunity to put your car forward as a potential exhibitor..... Perhaps we could have members voting on the day; and collectively discuss the arrangements for the NEC, like accommodation etc.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Early October sounds good to me. The weekend of the 1st/2nd October. AGM on the 1st with meal at pub afterwards Im thinking. It will be good to discuss the NEC show at the same time as it would be just over a month to go at that point

AGM on the 2nd Tom - the 1st is for people travelling, to get together at the chosen hotel that evening for a meal, then off to the BMM on Sunday 2nd for the main meet, then AGM with lunch.

Yep better for me as we’re away the the last week of July and the whole of August we miss everything. ?

Hi

Sorry not sure mine is going to be ready by then, still waiting for quote from repairer to insurance... long story! And unable to make that date, so will not be able to attend

All good for me so count me in. Look forward to it [emoji3]

@TheRealNips Susan and will be heading home from our Devon holiday on 1st Oct and will be passing that way. Easy to extend our holiday and stop over the weekend for the AGM. Unfortunately, I won't be in my Z but will be great seeing / catching up with everyone, especially @Raja93 Z. ??

@sumshiftyguy hope you can attend. Am sure everybody would love to see your uber rare Z.
