Heater problem

Hi, any help will be much appreciated, thanks In advance. I have a nissan 300zx tt 2+2 on a g reg. The front heaters work well blowing out air, however the vents for the windscreen has no air coming out.

    For manual heater controls, the problem could be with the air mix actuator failing. Similar discussion in thread below:

    so I guess a rod is jammed or broken. But now I get no noise from the dash at all when I turn it. "
