Hi guys new here just got a twin turbo 300zx Jap import, automatic.

On a g registration 1990 I believe.

It ran like a lawn mower misfiring so I currently have the intake apart ect

I’m looking at putting new oem injectors in just wondered if anyone knew of a set or am I better upgrading them ? If so what’s involved ect.

Also while the intake plenum is out am I better deleting the egr and coolant lines as many do ?

Any help and advice while I’m there is greatly welcome and appreciated.

Note: I’m renewing the valve and cam cover gaskets while there [emoji4]

I would replace with new oem new style. Seems like upgraded ones are hit and miss to be fair. You will also need a new chip for ecu. Unless you are looking to run higher boost. But in my opinion you would be opening a can of worms. Some might disagree but oem 370cc injectors are capable of reaching more than enough hp. As for deletes water lines delete is a must  and easy to do, the rest is optional and egr will be hard to do with engine in.

Are you sure the injectors themselves are the cause of the misfire? What else have you checked (ie vacuum leaks, spark plugs, ignition system, PTU,

connectors, wiring etc). Checked for ECU fault codes?

The injector plugs all snapped and corroded like fuck so replacing plugs to them and coils ect but want to get injectors tested while off and would like new tbh but gonna get mine tested plus one injector is broken too.

I know how to diagnose cars ect I’m just doing stuff there while the intake is off as injectors on these are common as anything so while I’m there I want them tidied up ect and I though if a set wasn’t too much I’d just put new ones in

Czp or z1 motorsport in usa i would say for OEM. But will be costly. Cant vouch for any aftermarket OE.

fit later style injectors, 370cc you can retain the standard Ecu chip with them. I  bought a complete kit for mine including adaptors/ wiring plugs etc for around £400 from czp you will also need fuel rail lower seals and insulators. cylinder 1 will require the plenum grinding to clear the new injector plug. did mine over a weekend. just remember to lubricate all the injector seals when refitting, I used vaseline on mine but you can also use wd40.

I tried them but found 6 injectors were £900 odd dollars alone
