We are planning a meetup and drive on Sunday 26th July 2020. I know this is Simply Japanese day, but as tickets are limited to 500 and everything in the grounds is closed, I sadly decided to give it a miss this year. Instead Naz and I have planned a trip out around the East Sussex area ending with a picnic in Crawley!

We are going to meet about 10am on Eastbourne seafront for a meet and greet (at 2m distance of course!), then set off on a little route I have planned on some nice roads to Tilgate Park in Crawley where we will have a picnic lunch. People can then drive home at their own leisure. 

Parking on Eastbourne Seafront can be a pain, but 10am on a sunday should be ok if we meet more towards the western end past Western Gardens and the Wish Tower.

Make sure you bring your own lunch and drinks to avoid sharing/contamination!

 

Having got seperated I headed to Tilgate Park as our lunch stop. The car park was absolutely rammed and I didn't see you there

so I headed back home. A few pics below from the lovely drive out by the coast. We had a great tour guide! Nice to catch up with you all.

Shame you got separated, when we turned off the A22 and you didnt, I spun round to see if I could find you while the others hung back to see if you came past, but we couldnt ttrack you down. I think you got to Tilbury Park way before us in the end. I really enjoyed today, so ill start planning another, but each person will get a map this time!

I’ve only been around since late Feb or so but guess it must have been the first one. Thanks to Tom for sorting out such a great route with all the great stops - saw some amazing views. Well worth others coming down this way in the future. Tom suggested maybe other meets around the UK so maybe when we’re a bit closer to you, you could come over Gary [emoji1417]. Got to see your super clean Zed one day!
