I hope everyone is doing ok! My wife and I have been in self-isolation since Friday because she stayed in an LA hotel where someone tested positive. We have no symptoms but are getting cabin fever and still have a week left!

This brings me on to the thread topic: what have you guys been doing to keep busy and pass the time?

It's taken me 6 days, but I have sorted out my garage (almost) and built a workbench! It was a test of my carpentry and painting skills (neither which are any good, but it's not going to fall down anytime soon!

Keep safe and don't get too bored!

Replaced by an assortment of 7.62 cross and flat head screws!

Started tidying up a few loose Zed ends. Polished the door and boot shuts yesterday. Got a few pesky things to attend to. 

I took my cats off today. Came off easy which was a shock. Didnt even have to swear lol!

Sorted out my workshop today. Threw away some of the M6, M8, M10 and M12 bolts that were rusty then had a general tidy [emoji1] waiting on parts for the Zed to continue tuning. New AEM FPR fitted so it’s onto the other checks next and done tweaking.

Also made progress on the tweeter pods in the wing mirror backs as per what AndrewG has done.

Haha nice work - very shiny! Never had a white car so don’t know how difficult they are to detail, but assume they’re not too bad. Bet your glad they’re not all black. Black cars are a right pain to keep in good condition.

I’ve been doing the same really on my Zed. After washing her today, I applied autoglym bumper and rubber gel to the targas and all surrounding seals to revitalise them. Also cleaned and waxed all the targa channels etc.

Been going for drives at every opportunity, watching a shit tonne of tv haha and going on long walks with the wife. I’m going to take the 3 month furlough leave I have to jet wash the driveway and refill the sand to gaps, repaint outside of house and do loads of bits n bobs so when the lockdown period is over, we can just relax and go out loads without having those summer only house jobs to do!

My first Z was black and its my favorite colour but your right its the hardest colour to keep clean but when it is clean it looks so good.

Yeah you’re right - I love black cars when they’re clean and waxed. Your old Zed looks fantastic with those 99 spec rear lights especially [emoji7]. Such a timeless shape hey.

Sold it to a friend of mine in Belfast then it was sold on three more times and now lives in England with one of our members. The 99 spec rear lights is one of the best mods you can have.

Oh wow quite a change of hands then. What made you sell her in the end? I know right - the Zed with the original amber indicators to rear and side indicators make it look like an old car but those facelift bits plus wheels which fill out those arches just make our baby’s timeless..

I wanted a SWB TT manual and got one in England so I had both for a year but the black Z was just not used so I sold it to a friend. Miss it now ?
