Greetings all. I could use some advice on fog lights and instrument cluster

Hello first off it is great to see so many gorgeous Z's on this site. Truly has inspired me to go the extra mile on my build and hope many of you give advice and guidance to help me along the way.

The first build is a 93 usdm 300zedx non turbo. I am seeking help with the following:

1. Instrument cluster, aside from changing the bulbs to led, where can I find really neat gauges and how to change those?

2. The front h3 fog lights I would love to use an HID kit of some sort, any advice on how to go about this?

Thank you kindly in advance

Thasey

If you want a new instrument cluster then shop at speedhut.com as a few in the US have posted details on what gauges they have used. As for fitting well that is a top level custom job so electrical ability and engineering is required to do it yourself [emoji106]

Has anyone used these? I found them on ebay but not sure how they actually look and how easy is the install.

I’ve used them kind of clock faces before. Make sure the speedo matches yours as ones like that only go up to 160.

Thanks Gonzo12c, do you have any pics of those gauge overlays installed?

Also, I saw the Tt.net post but a bit unclear what kit was used, 35w?, 55w? H3? and how to install the fogs is foggy ?

I have these fitted.

bones28, those look nice. How do they look at night? have a pic? Do they need an external on/off switch?

Here is a screenshot of them however don’t use them anymore as the Mph clock is wrong and should go up to 190 mph.

I've only been here one day as this is my first post, at least give me a chance to get a feel for the forum before coming at me with a subscription fee. If I were to pay a fee for every forum that I visited first shot it would get expensive quick. Also if you are an admin and you get a private email then reply to that person via a private email, don't use it as an opportunity to make a sales pitch, it's as if I walked into a car dealership and are using a guide post as a bait and switch to drum up subscriptions. It's  obvious that is the case as even my pm ability has been put on blast.

Not a sales pitch at all and i apologise if it seemed that way.

At the time i posted it was simply easier for me to reply direct on the club forum.

i will email you separately regarding your query.

Hi they use the same wire for lights, have an external switch for blue\green colour. I can’t find any pictures of them at night at the mo. I will look for the pictures.

I’ve been digging through my parts I’ve also got these that I’m not using anymore. I need the cluster for a project but I can take the gauge dials out to sell [emoji106]

I have these as well, they have selectable blue or green illumination and come on with your headlights so no switch required. they also have a dimmer so yo can adjust the brightness.

If I remember ill take a few pics later on for you.
