Hi,

I have a 1993 TT Auto 2+2 thats been converted to manual. No problems there.

What I have issue with is I've had the car for 12 years and to date never really bothered with needing the air con cooling function. Due to health reasons I now need it working. I've been told that the system needs parts replacing so that it can work with the latest stuff they use to regas them.

Has anyone had experience of going through this process and knows what needs changing and some idea of the cost to get it done please?

Many thanks,

Rex

Rex, have a word with Jim@Powerzed. He can advise on what will be involved and costs.

Thank you AndrewG and RichardS for the info.

Do you know of anywhere else a bit further north as I'm in South Yorkshire and Bristol is a long way to get my AC sorted?

I will have to go to PowerZed if theres nowhere closer that you know of.

Many thanks, Rex
