Now that the new system is in place and nearly fully operational i want to get your views on hows its put together.

We still have loads to change but as the members make this place your views 100% count.

In the coming days a few of the main pages will be populated with information like :

Home Page - A snapshot of the club which needs to be updated weekly.

Membership - New membership details page making it even easier to join.

Blogs - This could be the new Premium Members section to display the work they do.

Classifieds - this is a new speciialy built app which works like a real store rather than modified forum.

Gallery - This is a fresh Gallery / Garage system as the old one could not be migrated.

Calendar - This will be populated with all the events the club is envolved with.

I noticed that too,

Seems after the first time you read it it defaults back to the first page post rather than last.

This might be a bug in the software.

Are people generally just selling less since this new site went live? Or is it more a case of people don’t know where to list their parts for sale? 

Orrrr could it be that I don’t know where to find parts for sale now? ???‍♂️

The new Classified section isn't that much different.

In terms of the sections i kept that identical and the items posted dont expire either so they should stay active until the member removes it.

I posted a wanted post for a pair of front calipers awhile ago but had no response and I don't think you can bump the posts to make it show in the recent activity. Do people have to physically go to the selling section?

The selling system isnt part of the forum and works like a proper ecommerce system now.

So you cant bump the selling post as such, but there is various adverts proped about the site that show random adverts now.

I will add some more to make it more abvious for people.

All in, i think the new system is better as you can see what people are selling from the main page now as an image.

Done a bit of reorganisation on the classifieds in that i have generalised the catagories to make it easier.

Also any registered user can post a wanted advert now.
