Hi guys

Can someone please explain how or why a refund from an item I brought on eBay is getting refunded to my paypal account? I paid for the item via my bank card and have been told I will be refunded to my “PayPal balance”. I don’t use paypal. :confused1::confused1:

Chris.

Where has the correspondence for this originated from? Ebay app? Email? If it's email, it's potentially a scam.

Via my eBay account and email. I’m 100% sure it’s official.

They're not trying to send PayPal. The seller is refunding via PayPal which is subsequently issuing an echeque as the other party doesn't have PayPal.

What are you saying Simon, you think it will just move from their PP account into my bank account?

It'll probably just go back into the bank account that your eBay account is set up with? I'm not sure past that point, you may have to email or call PayPal. They have UK contact numbers.

Cheers. I’ve email TMS asking what’s going on. Banzai Breakers have managed to refund my account properly...
