I didn't find what I was looking for in the search, and Google didn't get me what I wanted either.

I am returning my car to stock spec for a project, and have had the standard 16's soda blasted back to bare metal as they had been painted black many years ago.

Does anyone know what the Nissan paint code is for the silver used on the stock wheels, or a paint code of another manufacturer that is a closest match?

I’m not convinced Nissan ever documented the colour code for the wheel colour, the illustrated parts catalogue doesn’t give any info on it. Ideally, you need to find a good condition wheel that’s known to have original paint and get that matched taking its age into consideration.

That's a shame if true. I had been toying with the idea of buying another wheel just so I had a reference.

I'm not particularly keen on buying an entire set of spares just for matching the paint, but that may be the reality.

Thanks for checking though.

Bit of an update.

I've spoken to a few places now, including Nissan approved body shops and 3rd party wheel repair companies, but they have no clue about paint codes for wheels. Body paint yes, wheel paint no.

The Nissan approved body shop put me through to their contact at Wessex Garages, but again they had no info on wheel paint.

So now they have put me in contact with Nissan itself. If I get any results, I'll post it here.

I’m going to put forward silver sparkle [emoji3].

LOL - hence I'd go with my suggestion mate...

Any decent wheel refurb outfit will have a "normal" shade of silver, in which they paint most wheels. Don't waste your time searching endlessly and go with it:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
