Looking to buy my dream car, new to the forum and have been looking for a manual zx for weeks now. I have currently a Hyundai coupe that I could part-x but will also be able to pay cash upfront.

Main thing I'm looking for is minimum rust, anything else should be alright as long as it's ready to drive home ?

Hi, £3k is pretty low for a car with no/little rust (although you 'might' be able to find a clean NA Auto for that). Rust-free cars are either fresh imports or cars that have been well maintained and often go for significantly more. You're worth biding your time, increasing your budget and getting something worthwhile. Not entirely sure you're going to find someone to part exchange a Hyundai Coupe with it, but you never know! Good luck!

Hi and welcome Nathan - and as Gary says, good luck in your search....:clover:

And to follow on from what Simon says, decent rust-free examples are going for a lot more these days. However, if your budget won't stretch much further than £3k, you might find this one worth a look.... Sure there is what appears to be (hopefully) a little surface rust. But if that's all that's wrong, it should still be a decent entry into 300zx ownership.
