Used to be active member on here, and with the Z meets in Essex, back some 16/17 years ago, when I purchased my Z. However, as life and family takes priority, I haven't been either on the forum, or had the Z on the Road (>10 years). After many years of promising myself Id would get round to getting her back on the road, its simply not going to happen. She needs a new owner, to either bring her back to life, or someone who will use her to return another Z to life.
She's a 91 import Twin Turbo Targa, on a Genuine 108,000 KM's. After killing the standard turbo's, I had her upgraded with Stage 1 hybrids, along with all the bits on bobs, you end up having to change when the engine comes out. At the same time, I had the Cam Belt and water pump replaced, and all of the smaller boost pipe, Det sensor, etc etc. I drove her a couple of thousand miles after having this work done at Redline Imports in Hadleigh Essex, before she came off the road, and lived under cover on my driveway, where she has remained until this day for over 10 years. I started to upgrade her to show her, but run out of spare time, and to be honest, these days, patience... Just don't have the drive any more to have my head under the bonnet of a car every weekend.
List of parts and Mods as I can remember are as follows, she has some quite nice bits, that I'm sure some of you old school members on here will know the vehicles they came off:
99 Spec Front Bumper
Stillen GTZR Front Bumper with Nistec Scoops blended into the sides - needs little more finishing - came of on SWM1's Z.
Twin Scoop Nose Cone
Large Front Mount Intercooler (brand new never fitted) Cost £300 - Stillen Bumper modified to accept this intercooler behind, pipes and clips all there..
Set of 18" Alloys with near new Goodyear Eagle NCT 2 Run Flat Tyres - 2x silver 1 x black & 1x Gold - Have silver Paint to finish them off if needed
Customer Rear Bumper - This is the bumper originally from MAC1's Z, before SWM1 purchased it, and had it blended into one single bumper - see photo - primed ready for painting
Engine Bay colour coded, lots of bits and bobs in there..
Turbo XS RFL Dump Valves, - Ridiculously Loud, but very nicely made, solid alloy body's, and brass pistons, with packer plates if needed
Clifford Concept 600 Alarm - anti hijack, remote start, PC connection cable etc
Interior Has been recovered in Black and White Faux Leather, with rear component speaker pods as arm rests - made by myself, not perfect, but they are different to the norm..
Leather Interior, in good condition, I also have ready to install the UK rear seat belts boxed up.
Rear Boot custom bass box for 2x 12" subs, and area below for racking Amps - wired front to back with 4 gauge and RCA cabling - Boot floor completely sound proofed
She's been delimited, though she still beeped at 110 MPH + :biggrin:
Twin Inlet Air Filter Fitting, due to Large Intercooler - needs to purchase a couple of mushroom filters for it.
Scarab De-cat Pipes, & Mongoose Cat Back Stainless exhaust System
Full component Speakers front and back & Fairly basic Sony Stereo but can be upgraded easily nowadays
Rust Free, and straight bodywork, with no filler, that I could ever see + Have original Titanium Key for the car
Original Rear Spoiler removed as the foam had corroded, I have a twin medium level replacement spoiler ready to install, primed ready for paint - see photo
Razo Pedals
Aftermarket Fuel Pressure Regulator (brand new)
I suspect I have forgotten a few other bits. Im hoping the car, and parts will interest someone, but need to be clear that it has no MOT and is currently SORN, and has been for many years, so it'll need collecting via a low loader, preferably with space for the additional bumpers and the additional set of wheels that come with it.
I'm looking for 700 quid, as you can see there is plenty for this in the bundle.
