Thanks for that. But this is the code stamped on the sensor ( gold in colour). My Zed is a Jap import. Maybe this is why the sensor is not recognised???

MAF sensors old and new with part number stamped on:

As nickz32 says, the part number you quote isn't a Nissan one. The MAF sensor above was taken out of my Japanese import Z and the new one was from the US. Nissan p/no 22680 30P00. If your MAF sensor doesn't look like this, then it's not an OEM one. New Nissan MAFs available from Japanese stock but currently on offer at $248 from Z1 Motorsport https://www.z1motorsports.com/intake-mas-and-hoses/nissan/new-oem-300zx-mass-air-flow-sensor-meter-mas-maf-p-1752.html
