This year sees the 30th anniversary of the launch of the Z32 300zx.

 

Along with a number of other events celebrating this wonderful milestone and the Z car's 50th anniversary also this year, we are holding our 30th celebration in the grounds of The British Motor Museum in Gaydon on Sunday the 14th of July which has been chosen for this year's 300zx.co.uk Owners Club National meeting with a pre-event and AGM at the beautiful country Woodland Grange Hotel in Leamington Spa on the evening of Saturday 13th of July.

Saturday 13th of July

 

Arrive at Woodland Grange Hotel in Leamington Spa. http://www.woodlandgrange.com from 3 onwards. Group evening meal from around 6pm, a great chance to meet the club staff members and other likeminded enthusiasts with AGM for club members only at approximately 8pm.

Sunday 14th of July

 

0900/0930hrs: Depart Woodland Grange Hotel Leamington Spa in convoy to the British Motor Museum in Gaydon which is about 12 miles (20 minutes)

1000hrs: Cars arrive at display area

1230hrs: buffet lunch

1500hrs Prize giving (various category awards - to be announced)

1600hrs: Departure

 

Entry to the museum will be included with the option of full guided tours. There are cafe facilities serving hot and cold food and of course toilet facilities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This will be a lovely relaxed family-friendly set in nice surrounds. On behalf of the 300zx.co.uk owners club, we look forward to welcoming you to this event.

Guys, to book the hotel, speak to Katherine Cross and quote reference no:131922 and 300zx Owners Club; these are the club's allocated block. We have 20 rooms so far, but by the looks of it, we will need to increase the number which is not an issue as there's good availability. I don't have the official document here stating break down of costs as what they sent through to me included a pre-selected evening meal which we will do, however for members, it would be better to see breakdown of costs. As soon as I have that, I'll post up, but you're free to book now through that contact and reference number.

 

Please bear in mind there is a cancelation policy as with booking any hotel rooms.

The contractual figure is £82.50 + VAT incl. breakfast (double occupancy) which comes out at £99 (regular price is over £150 I believe looking at pricing from internet sources). Irrespective, you're being overcharged; as per Andrew's comments, did you quote the reference code? Do you want me to give her a call tomorrow morning?

There is a plan for a club visit to Caffeine & Machine on Saturday afternoon which is less than 30 minute drive from the hotel.

 

So if you want to join us we plan to meet at the hotel from 11am and leave by midday, returning by 4pm latest to enable check-in, freshen up etc before dinner and AGM.

 

Hopefully Simon will update the first post and add this to the itinerary as well :)

they do not reserve parking for anyone, so although i have discussed about us attending, i haven't formally booked us for anything.

 

I did initially ask about holding the AGM there in the evening or having a club meet there, but it wasn't practical when they could not guarantee any parking.

 

So as i thought it might only be a handful of us that would actually be at the hotel early enough to go, i wasn't going to book anything, just turn up....

Depends how many sign up for the idea, i will let them know if it starts to turn into a big number ;)

Just spoke to them again and all sorted apparently she worked the vat out wrong...then realised what she had done and amended the rate before she took payment...always happens to me lol

Can I have a show of hands as to who's booked their room? I need to give the hotel an update on numbers.
