For some reason, when I try and look at Bird’s 99spec glass thread I’m getting this

peculiar url bug we are trying to sort but seems to be wider issue than just us

It happens because characters like " # % { } | \ ^ ~ [ ] ` are now deemed as unsafe to be used in a URL and web servers wont process them any longer.

 

The only way to fix the issue is to edit the original thread and remove the characters.

 

Unfortunately we have no way to stop people creating new threads with these characters in the title so its a manual process to remove them afterwards.

Some of those characters have had well-defined URL usage for decades... :rolleyes:
