Hi All

Just picked this little beauty up today. Previously owned by Dbiagioni1

Car drove beautiful and smooth for the 2hr 30mins journey back home, doesn't feel like a 28 year old car at all. Tucked up in the garage tonight before it comes out again tomorrow for another drive to get used to the car. Seriously don't want to get out of this thing. Glad to finally have a 300 after 10 years of liking these and 3 months looking round. Thanks to Jimmer for giving me the heads up on this one as well and thanks to David for building one hell of a car!

Some pictures that were used in the sales advert due to it being dark when I got home today.

Thanks

I haven’t got fully acquainted yet because I’m waiting for the registration.

It’ll need a little work to make it mint. No rust was the key for me.

Yours has a forged engine if I remember?

Ye forged engine and a fair amount of engine work. Just gotts tidy up bodywork and it will be spot on.

If i remember when I looked at the white one you have the drivers footwell was wet, which could be the drains from targa tops could be blocked. I did tell the guys to get it sorted

Yours does look nice, I love the colour too but I wanted a fresh import and was considering importing one direct from Japan.

The seller said he’d cleaned the drains out. What made you pass on my car btw?

Good good, i told him to get it sorted because thats what put me off it, turns out its a small job really just fiddly but didnt know at the time. Also the cage was an issue for me, thats all tjat out me off the car, otherwise I really liked it.

If I got it I was gonna grt it down to jimmer for a check over and see what mods have been done to it because its got some done but theres no history on what it was when I asked about them. Jimmer and a rolling road should sort that all out though.

I think you have the optional extra bbs nissan alloys as well which I liked, thought they set the car off well

Yeh I went to look at it thinking I won’t be buying it due to the cage but after looking underneath I was sold. I need to get the auction sheet translated so I can see what’s done to it.

Mine’s destined to be a weekend garaged toy anyway.

The only thing that put me off yours was that it’s been in the country for a while and I can’t stand any rust. It does look like a well cared for car though.

Ye its been really well cared for, has a slight bubbling on rear arch and an inch or 2 on the sill. Everywhere else though its perfect.

To make it mint just need to get thr new windoe trims etc as they cracked and the chrome below is showing but thats a couple hundred quid, those 2 patches to sort and repaint the spoiler due to a bit of lacquer peel
