I have had an issue with my ABS light for a while now - IE after driving for (say) 80 miles, the light comes on; and then stays on until I switch off the engine and restart again.... Luckily it stayed off during the recent MOT....

…..I had forgotten about it, as the Zed was away for a year. However, it's back now - and I have also noticed a weird "groaning" sound from the ABS module in the boot. Probably because I drove the Zed 150 miles home with no radio....

Darren at Dasstech did mention there's probably a fault within the ABS module; and I have acquired a replacement from Banzai Breakers for £40. So, has anyone else encountered this problem - and does anyone have any advice on how easy it is to replace the module....?

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

There is an ABS system diagnostic you can do, fairly sure it’s in the FSM, flashes the ABS light to give codes for wheel speed sensors etc

Before you replace the ABS module you should determine if the fault lies outside the ABS actuator. This is the self-

diagnosis page from the FSM. The fault could be with an associated sensor, connector or wiring.
