Prior to my new 95 harness and 740cc injector upgrade, I'm refinishing everything I can on the top half of the engine. Loads of fasteners, hose unions and fuel rails are at the platers, spare rocker covers are going to be vapour blasted and powder coated a satin silver and satin black as per original, I'm getting a spare intake manifold and throttle assembly vapour blasted to look like new and may dismantle some of the fixings to get plated although not sure I want to take apart the entire assembly.

Has anyone had their throttle housings powder coated with the bearings still in situ? I'm guessing that the seals could be damaged and grease in the bearings ruined however I don't know how hardy the bearings are and whether they can take to the oven (200 degrees) and come out all ok. Has anyone been successful with this?

I'd rather not have to take the throttle housings and carrier bar apart if I can get away with it. I want the lot satin-clear powder coated to preserve the finish a little.
