Can anyone tell me what this is I just bought off of smithy ?.

Looks nice and shiny and I remember ordering it for some reason but I can't remember where it goes or it's purpose. I remember Smithy saying something about pushes air twards something.

Thanks Guys, I can't find any info on the net about this. What does it do ?

Threw me a bit ,i thought they were polished alloy, maybe its the light reflecting, making it look dark!:D :D ;)

If it's from Smithy then it will be polished stainless.

I want one myself, but in carbon fibre ....

Stu it forces the air through the rad, instead of letting it escape over the top of it,I got one in carbon;)

Bloomin eck Stu, yer had fairly soon after ordered and forgot what it was ! Dohh

Anyways, remove the bonnet stay catches, remove the centre panel nuts, place panel over opening pushing it down tight at back of centre panel, refit what you removed, job done 15 mins ?

Alot of the incoming air has been found to escape upwards around th einduction area, rather than all going to rad area, this panel prevents the air escape. Idea came out many years ago in Japan and the first produced was Mines i believe, , just that i think stainless looks sooo better ;)

cheers

Excellent thanks all.

Sorry about that Smithy, It was late and I'd had a few beers. I'm getting old now (pushing 30) ;). My memory isn't what it used to be LOL.

Will fit that and the apexi induction kit today although I'm having problems with my Japanese at the moment. anyone got a link to the english version of the fitting instructions for the Apexi. It looks fairly straight forward but I wouln't mind reading as well as following the pretty pictures :D

Got there in the end. Fitted Induction and Slam panel. :D

Thanks for all your help.

Glad yer all sorted now fella and hope you like it, brightens the area up very nicely, only 2 of these left now guys if you want one.

Andy, Carbon is not a problem, however it does cost a little more at £67.00 , If Cybercraft gets sorted, sure we'll be able to produce more.

cheers

Yeah it looks great. It would look even better if my ebgine bay was cleaner. Still something to do tomorrow I suppose.

Smithy is one of those dark, edgy, perimeters of society dudes so watch out.

I ordered a rad cap of him and something similar to that turned up, it turned out it was one of those 'Rorschach' pictures.

If you look at it for a long time you will either see an old womans face or a beautiful young girl.

Be warned ;)
