Hello everyone, does anybody no how the water drains out of the bulkhead under the scuttle plastic trim where the wiper motor sits. For some reason i have water coming in both sides of the car in both corners of the A pillar, its not the targa drains there both connected and cleaned out.The only info on the drain holes seems to be just for the targa drains, many thanks for any info.

Hi, the water drains down the outside of the bulkhead from the scuttle trims. Not inside!

Are u certain your targa drains are connected as they go out of the inner wing?

Do a search for "pesky drains & electrical problems" Jeff did a write up.

The plastic pipe that goes down the A pillers attaches to a 90 degree rubber tube.

The plastic pipe shrinks & comes off the black rubber tube. It's a PITA to get to. You can't see it! Not very well!

Other than that the heater matrix could be the problem? Sorry if you have check these out!

hi thanks for reply, yeah targa drains and matrix all good,ok dont think im been cocky, but there are holes in the scuttle trim so water does go through it,so there has to be holes for it to escape, cheers anyway, seems no info on this any where or pics.

Take the scuttles off, where the inner wing meets the bottom of the bulkhead there is a rubber flap each side,, it does get full up with crap over time, especially if your scuttle trim has bits missing from it.

Thanks for reply, ive had dash out, wing off, scuttles and wiper mechanism all off and still cant see what nissan did to let the water escape. There is no rubber flaps on mine and some how if you pour water into the bulkhead,it leaks both sides into the car through the inner sills, which i no isnt good, many thanks Mark.

Many thanks for pics, are these located at the side but top of inner wing.Mine has lambo hinges if so they must have welded the hinges in front of them hence that would explain why the water cant escape, many many thanks for your help matey.
