Description from Trackdays co.uk

Blyton Park offers a fun and challenging 1.6 mile track day circuit and the new Eastern Circuit.

The new high grip surface has excellent run off and is therefore ideal for beginners where as the more technical layout of the Eastern Circuit is more suited to an experienced driver or rider. On site you will find toilet blocks and shelter in the paddock as well as an admin and race control building. In addition to own vehicle track days we also offer Blyton Park driving experiences.

Im looking at Monday 10th Sep.

£115 all day open pit lane.

Not many track racers here and the only track I was on was the DeLorean test track and it was limited to 30mph due to its condition.

It's interesting to see how the club has gravitated towards the "classic car" world.

I did some of that "classic car show" stuff with my 240Z back in the day.Including organize club stands for the Z club at the NEC.

All good fun and i enjoyed it.

I dont want to return to that scene tho.

So track day fun is where Im at as driving quickly on the public roads is now difficult and dangerous in a license losing way.

had planned to go to Blyton on one of their BSB training schools on the bike, but not had a chance to.

not actually seen what the track is like though.

Check out the link in my first post . There are car and bike track videos.

As an "intermediate" level track driver it looks fairly straightforward.....ish:lol:

if i get my act together a bit for next year, then i would like to do a couple of days with you Pete :thumbup1:

That would be great.

I will be reporting back on my first airfield experience after I have been to Blyton.

I want to do some more track days, but that one is a bit north for me

I fancy Bedford Autodrome next year, a little further south!

And thats understandable.given that you usually have to turn up to sign on at 8.00am.

The reverse rule applies to me for Bedford.....its a bit too far south:biggrin:

Something to bear in mind perhaps for Bedford.....

The Noise Limits at Bedford Autodrome are lower than most circuits. Please ensure your car complies. There are no second chances and no refunds in the event of failure.

Hey Pete good to see you today the wheels look great!!

Blyton Park is pretty decent though narrow though you'll be used to that from 3 sisters :) the gravel is rather large so if you go off be prepared for some rather large dents under the motor lol. I did it a few times with the MLR sprints and was worth the long trip for me.
