Hi Al,

I have owned a couple of 300's over the years, I used to be an active member here and recently I've been getting a very real urge to get back in to Zed ownership after a long hiatus (kids, wife, new house etc. etc.). Now I have a nice double garage to store one again I'm in the market for one again. Yours looks fantastic I must say, and it has already had a lot of the work done I would look to do myself. I can't see a price on your advert though? If that's not public for a reason feel free to pm me if you can (not sure if you can do that as I'm not subbed anymore) or alternatively email me @ baysideblue300zx@gmail.com

Thanks,

Jon.

Ah thanks Gaz the new format eluded me. Thanks for the heads up!

Sorry to clutter the thread but where at the top is the price, i'm not seeing prices on any of the sale threads.

It looks like there was an issue with standard members not being able to see the entry info section but it should be sorted now if you try again.

Just a little update....

Had quite a few people interested in my 300 and 7 people (from PH) have come over to view (along with members here via pm)....

Everyone has concerns with the following on my car:

1. Air con not working - I had this looked at several years ago, got it gassed on had some leaks. Never looked into it and left it "as is". The plan was to remove all connecting parts, but never got round to it.

2. minor issues with paint work - nothing major, just cosmetic stuff. No corrosion present, just old faded paint in some areas.

3. Dash windscreen vent - plastic has become brittle and broken, also the dash skin has migrated from the vent covers (quite common).

4. Small vibration from the front end - This has just started to happen. Nothing apparent from the front (no worn, loose, damaged/seized bushes or bearings. I will get this looked at.

The last person that viewed, took her out, gave it some beans and developed a boost leak. I think its a hose off somewhere, should be an easy fix. I will get this looked at.

So as it stands today, I am looking a 3 options....

1. Storage

2. Reduced offer

3. Break for parts

Not sure on my plans yet, but will let you all know in due course.

Thanks to everyone for the interest and support.

Al

Hi Mate

I have a Dash vent in good condition and I'm always in and out of Bury.

Cheers

Martin

Fix it or reduced offer. Be a shame to break it but if you do I’d be very interested to pull an awful lot off it! :whistling:

If you want top money you need it to be in top condition. It’s alot of money of a Z32, whilst some a trying desperately to talk values up to justify thier expenditures they aren’t as desirable as many other similar cars. Have you had offers? It’s really up to you but with the faults I feel that it’s too expensive.

I'd fix the problems.

100%, if buyers cannot find one fault they'll push their budget.

I sold a black lovely fully loaded Merc about 2 years ago, it had barely a fault and I knew it, I stood my ground and do you know the buyer told me after that he was not leaving without it and letting someone else have it !!
