for some reason they wear out where the threaded collar is so i get play through the wheel, i have tightened the locking clamp which is a 5mm hex i think as tight as possible but still no good. i had my first set replaced under warranty but the second is not covered. i feel like the clamp they user is inferior to the 'cheap' ebay ones that utilise a big nut to lock the arm up like the rest of my driftworks suspension uses.

Topspeed on mine. How many miles before they "wear" out?

I've had mine on for about a 1.5 years, approximately 10k km's. Still tight

2 sets in 2000 miles but 1st set didnt last long few hundred miles maybe they work loose way too easily, dont want to apply locktite to threads otherwise they are a bitch to adjust, i have put some on the small 5mm bolt on the locking collar though and no difference. After the first set got replqced the guy at driftworks told me a was fitting them incorrectly not sure how but that was his answer to why they failed.

I’ve got Powertrix arms all round. Can order the optional dust boots for the joints to prevent the deterioration which is what I found with others that have been mentioned. I regard Powertrix as second best behind SPL.

i will take a look thanks gonzo, anyone using the zcentre ones they are of a different design to any i have seen?

Avoid ALL adjustable links with bearing or solid bushings if you value a compliant ride. Go for SPC ones which are rubber bushed. Solid joints/rose joints on a road car especially on UK roads ruins the quality of ride.

Unless you're on coilovers and fairly low at the front, do away with adjustable ones and get stock ones with uprated bushings.

I can't begin to tell you how bad rose jointed/solid links are on these cars.
