I want to buy some decks, mixer etc, anyone suggest what I should buy and where from?

Technics sl's a must, buy the best you can afford, without going on to longer waiting list. Stanton 24ct cartrages you will enjoy.

Mixers your spoilt for choice, play with the Dennon studio pro;) then find one thats better or on a comparison for less £.

Look for a pioneer/dennon etc, twin disc sink unit/dj unit. It does stuff with cd's thats quite unreal.

As for where to buy boxes & wires from........Theres a back street up the smoke called 'Tottenham Court Road' ! LOL.

Depends how you want to spend really, obviously 1210's are best to go for but if you want something bit cheaper get the new Numark direct drives cause they're nice to use. Anything is good mixer wise cause all you really need is 2 channels & a fader. If you can afford it, go for a Vestax.

For your decks you definately need to to get the Technics SL's

 

As for ya mixer you dont need o go overboard, just get something addecuate. The Vestax are reasonble priced are are worth every penny.
