Just thought I'd introduce myself... Bought my first 300zx a month or so ago, I first fell in love with this car when my mate bought one 18 years ago and I finally decided to take the plunge and I'm glad I did... Every bit as beautiful as I remember and a dream to drive.

Picked it up in Scotland... 1996 300zx tt jap import.... Glad to be part of the forum.

She's not to shabby.. Just a few areas where the paint has chipped and I had a leak last week which made abit of a mess... Apart from that.. Prettier than my girlfriend [emoji23]

Mine is currently struggling to deal with the fact she is losing.. Badly... But it'll teach her to say it looks like knight rider [emoji23]

it was 97-98 model years I believe did not have a boost gauge (cost cutting?). Regarding the turbo timer, just dont drive the car hard in the last 10 mins of driving, just drive it around with low revs. That way there is air going through the oil cooler and cooling the oil, where just idling with a turbo timer, you are just moving around warm oil.

Mine's a '95 JDM TT and the boost gauge is also absent. It was the first thing I noticed when I jumped in it at Southampton docks and I honestly thought I'd been had and bought an N/A !!! Had a VERY quick look under the bonnet I can tell you !

It started a bit earlier than that Ali, pretty much at my late 1994 but they can be fitted very easily, I have done it but you'll need one of course from a donor cluster which aren't easy to obtain but they do exist :detective:.
