Does anyone have a spare hazard switch with known/tested illumination? I kinda wrecked mine trying to pull the bulb out which appears to either be soldered in or have a wedged bulb holder.

 

These should illuminate when activated and there should also be a telltail 'glow' when the exterior lights are turned on.

 

I don't need the actual button, just the switch. If it works and the above features still work, please let me know.

 

Is there a difference between JDM and UK? I might have a spare in my box of salvage I’m gathering.

Only the button is different. I have a UK button anyway, but no, the main switch body is identical.

i managed to fix mine the illumination bulb was on a rubber mouting that just pulled out, i bought a bulb i think from marlins then refitted it (that was the tricky bit) and it all works as it should

I do have a JDM switch. Haven’t got round to testing but will try and find time this weekend as I need to pull mine apart as it’s developed a rattle.

Apparently Real Madrid are ready to pay £200 million for a Hazard Switch although he is not JDM it may be worth more than you think

So the hazard switch works however the lamp doesn’t. I’ve also knocked mine pulling the switch out so the lamp on my own switch is also dead. I’m happy to replace it and then send it up to you if I can.

 

Where can you get the replacement lamp and how do you get them out? (Best ask now as I’m likely to beat it like Simon has trying to remove it. :wink:)
