Hi guys,

I am new here and originally living in France.

I am searching for a TT engine for my 1990 300ZX, US model as mine seized.

I have found that NIPPON AUTO SPARES proposed some lately and are able to import from JAPAN with a 3month guarantee.

Anybody has some experience with these imported engines?

Rgds.

PS: I own also a Strosek 300ZX US model with automatic gearbox who is driving well.

I purchased an engine from them and had them fit it some years ago, the service was poor and I received a non turbo engine instead of the twin which failed a few years later (very few miles due to lack of use, due to the poor fitting). They did not agree fault or to compensate me, I was within my legal right to persue them and was prepared to do so under the misale of goods act. We settled on “good will guesture” of around 1/6th of the total value of the parts and fitting I’d paid, which got me a new engine from another place.

As you can imagine the story is somewhat longer than this but my advice would be the same, esp as an international buyer. I would personally not purchase from them again or recommend them.

You could contact PowerZed here in the UK for them to build you a high quality rebuilt engine and have that shipped to you or even fitted if you can get the car transported.

You'll be guaranteed a trouble-free long lasting engine that way. Used unknown engines are so much of a gamble.

PowerZed get customers from Europe bring their cars over to work on.

I agree with Simon, I’m based in Ireland and have Powerzed building me a fresh forged engine, I’ll be hopefully transporting my car over there in the next week or so :thumbup1:

Already in contact with Eric from DTA, but actually, he has no engine available right now.
